Following the unfortunate fire incident in Shahid Rajaee Port and the loss of lives of a number of Iranian citizens, a condolence book was opened on Wednesday, 2025 30, April at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pretoria. This was met with a remarkable welcome from diplomatic corps, Iranians residing in South Africa, those interested in Iran, and a number of foreign ambassadors and diplomats, along with representatives of business circles and mass media, expressed their sympathy for this heartbreaking incident with the people of our country. At the same time, a number of diplomatic missions residing in South Africa sent messages expressing condolences for this heartbreaking incident and expressing their sympathy with its survivors.
